Georgia's collection sites delivered on the challenge to remove unwanted prescription drugs from circulation

The 11th National "Drug Take Back Day" in 2016 saw a record amount of unwanted prescription medications, illegal drugs, and expired drugs removed from homes and neighborhoods throughout Georgia. The totals for 2016 are astounding, with nearly NINE TONS of unwanted medications turned in by responsible citizens, at 69 local collection sites throughout Georgia. For fun reference, that's equivalent to the weight of 7,800 liters of Coca Cola!
